If you wish to send Luke a letter or goodies (or both), this is the means to get in touch with him. Yes, it does mean using “snail mail,” as he does not always have access to his email. You can still try to email him, but while he is on the trail, snail mail is the only way to ensure he will get it.
This Mail-Drop Schedule was revised on 4/26/00, following a blizzard which trapped Luke for a few days.
Please write “HOLD FOR AT HIKER, LUKE JENNINGS" on the envelope. It may help to write "The post office of [town name, state]" in the mailing address. Priority mail takes 2 - 3 days and parcel post takes about 4 - 5, so keep that in mind.
